Pretty in pink

Pink hasn't always been a favourite of mine. I always feel too girly when I wear pink, it doesn't suit my personality as much as the colour green and blue does. However, this beauty was from Missguided, and I knew it had to come away with me as soon as I laid eyes on it. The baby pink colour is absolutely beautiful, and it wasn't too much either. The dress itself is very light considering it’s a ribbed body con. I've always preferred ribbed details for when it comes to wearing tight dresses; they don’t seem to show as many flaws due to their thicker material. I normally take a size 6 in clothing; however, size 6 was out of stock so I ended up getting an 8, which I’m really happy about. The bigger size gave me space to move, and I didn't feel as bad when I bloated after the amazing meal I had in the evening. I basically lived of seafood paella when I was away, and who wouldn't? Spanish food is my favourite (other than Italian, Italian always wins). The sunset was amazing again that night, and I had the loveliest evening with my other half.

I paired the dress up with my amazing tie up beauties from Public Desire. Oh my, these shoes are heaven. I not only have them in nude, I also have them in black. They go with everything, ultimate tie up shoe porn. I wore minimum makeup again, and had my hair slung to the side (I was in the pool that day and didn't wash my hair after which was a massive mistake, but I made do). I didn't bother with jewellery other than earrings because a dress like this doesn't need anything added, it’s beautiful on its own.

Unluckily, you can’t purchase this dress at the moment because it’s out of stock. However, due to popular demands, I’m sure it’ll be back on the website soon. The shoes are still available on the Public Desire website to buy, go get em’ girls!

Is everyone ready for this weekend? I know I’m not; juggling too jobs can be a nightmare at times. However, I found the perfect dress for my birthday so I’m buzzing my head off. I've had a lovely week, even though I've worked loads, I've managed to fit some of my favourite people into my life, and I've also indulged in some amazing healthy foods (sticking to my health craze at the moment, doing well considering all I want to do is shovel the fattiest lasagne I can find into my mouth). I suppose spending time with the people you love most is what life is all about isn't it? I need to remember that always, I’m such a workaholic when I want to be. I'm looking forward to a nice Monday off though, let's hope it's a sunny one!
